The SDCGA works to promote corn and improve corn profitability; and influence public policy and legislative efforts. The SDCGA is only as strong as their membership base. The more members we have, the stronger and more clout we carry legislatively.
Through SDCGA membership, South Dakota corn producers' voices are heard. With our membership dollars we have been able to hire a lobbyist who tracks agricultural legislation during the legislative session and makes sure the SDCGA's position on key issues like taxes, agriculture production, ethanol and livestock development are understood..
With our membership voice we have lobbied our congressional delegation on the farm bill, wetlands reform, conservation practices and a renewable fuels standard just to name a few of the projects we are proud of.
Membership is open to all corn producers and allied industry. Membership fees are as follows:
