Welcome to Corn Comments! I'm Lori Dykstra, CEO of Feeding South Dakota. We are brought to you today by the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council, a volunteer group of farmers who promote corn marketing in this state, the U.S., and around the globe.

In South Dakota, one in six children face hunger. Feeding South Dakota fills the gap for many families throughout the state. We are delighted to announce the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council presented $100,000 to Feeding South Dakota to help fight hunger through the School Pantry Program.

The School Pantry Program combats child hunger by providing free food to children and their families in an easily accessible and discreet location at school.The pantries provide non-perishable food staples and fresh foods such as meat, dairy, bread, eggs and produce.
