Welcome to Corn Comments! I'm Scott Stahl from the South Dakota Corn Growers Association. We are brought to you by the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council, a volunteer group of farmers who promote corn marketing in this state, the U.S., and around the globe.

On South Dakota farms, every day is Earth Day. Farmers are good stewards of the land and protect their most valuable resource, soil, for future generations.

Farmers know that soil health requires investment and work. Many South Dakota producers are early adaptors of practices such as planting cover crops and reducing tillage.

Farmers conserve, protect, and work to improve the resources inherited from their elders in hopes of passing them along to future generations.
