Annual Meeting Speaker Preview: Mike Pearson

The South Dakota Corn Growers are excited to kick off their 28^th annual meeting on Saturday at 9a.m. at the Sioux Falls Convention Center with Market to Market’s Mike Pearson.

Mike’s presentation is titled, “What’s driving agriculture in the year ahead,” where he will discuss the commodity market outlook and global trends.

Pearson began hosting the popular public television program, Market to Market, which airs in 20 different states across the country, following the death of his father, Mark, who had been the show’s host for 20 years.

Mike has been involved in agriculture all of his life. He managed his family’s grain and livestock farm after high school, provided market reports for a local radio station and started his work in personal, commercial and agricultural lending following graduation from Simpson College.

Pearson lives and works in Grinnell, Iowa, where he and his wife, Heidi, continue to build the Genuine Pearson Cattle Company brand.
