DAKOTA NEWS NOW: Mother Daughter Air Guard duo honored at Summit League Tournament

Sunday was Military Appreciation Day at the Summit League Tournament at the Denny Sanford Premier Center in Sioux Falls. South Dakota Corn donated free tickets to veterans and active duty military families.
Two special veterans, a mom and daughter who serve together in the South Dakota Air Guard, attended the afternoon games.
Senior Master Sergeant Jennifer DeCou has been in the Air Guard for 26 years and her daughter, Senior Airmen Jenaka DeCou, has been in the Air Guard for three years.
The two soon will be deployed and they are believed to be the first mother and daughter in South Dakota to be deployed at the same time.
