Next Wednesday and Thursday (February 18 and 19), the South Dakota Corn Growers board of directors will be making their way out to Pierre to visit with legislators and sit in on committee hearings.

“With agriculture being the number one industry in South Dakota, there is plenty of legislation on the table each session that affects our state’s family farmers,” said Keith Alverson, president of the South Dakota Corn Growers. “Consistently assembling in the capitol building with our farmer-directors and staff provides our organization with a great opportunity to network with lawmakers, as we continue to build relationships and share the comments and concerns of our 1,500 plus members.”
