Bold, modern and engaging are important attributes in successful communication, and the inspiration behind South Dakota Corn’s new consolidated logo.

The South Dakota Corn Growers Association and Corn Utilization Council which each represent the state’s corn farmers in different ways, have a new, unifying logo to enhance their connection with members and consumers.

“We want to speak to consumers as one group representing agriculture and corn in South Dakota,” said Teddi Mueller, legislative and industry affairs director. “This logo helps accomplish that, and represents the increasing importance of technology in corn farming and agricultural decision-making.”

The new logo is much more recognizable and distinguishable compared to other logos used in the past, especially on signage, pamphlets and other media.

“It’s important for our members and consumers to see the unity of purpose that South Dakota Corn displays through this new logo,” Mueller said. “Now, more than ever, we want to educate and inform consumers about the critical role family corn farmers and all of agriculture play in South Dakota’s economic vitality.”
