The Sioux Falls Skyforce will be sporting maize-colored, corn-themed uniforms tonight against the Grand Rapids Drive as a part of Ag Appreciation night at the Sanford Pentagon starting at 7PM CT. The game can also be seen on YouTube for Free.

So what’s with the funky uniforms? It’s a collaborative effort between the Sioux Falls Skyforce and the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council to raise funds, via a uniform auction, with the proceeds going to Feeding South Dakota, the state’s number one hunger relief organization. The jerseys can be purchased online with all proceeds going to fight hunger.

These especially unique uniforms have caught attention from national sports media including Sports Illustrated and the well-known sports uniform journalist, Phil Hecken. Don’t miss your chance to support Feeding South Dakota and own a piece of Skyforce history.

Other efforts to fight hunger this week in South Dakota have been a Feeding South Dakota food drive taking place each day from 11am-1pm at different Sioux Falls Lewis Drug locations.

“Teaming up with a great franchise like the Sioux Falls Skyforce to fight hunger in South Dakota is simply a win-win regardless of the game’s final score tonight,” stated Teddi Mueller, South Dakota Corn Director of Industry Relations. “Our organization is passionate about Feeding South Dakota’s mission and tonight’s game will help raise funds and awareness to support their benevolent cause. “
