U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson on his

House Committee on Agriculture Subcommittee Assignment

Sioux Falls, SD, February 9 – South Dakota Corn Growers Association (SDCGA) is delighted to congratulate U.S. Representative Dusty Johnson on his assignment to the House Committee on Agriculture General Farm Commodities, Risk Management and Credit Subcommittee. This will allow Johnson to represent South Dakota growers’ interests in the commodity and crop insurance titles of the 2023 Farm Bill.

SDCGA President Dave Ellens shares, “Dusty Johnson has represented South Dakota admirably as a recognized leader regarding agricultural issues in Washington, D.C. for the past four years. We are extremely pleased that he now has the opportunity to influence new legislation and policy that we hope will help to modernize the Farm Bill safety net for corn growers in the years to come.”
