South Dakota Corn Growers Association Hosts Successful 39th Annual Corn Conference

SIOUX FALLS, S.D., Jan. 21, 2025 – The South Dakota Corn Growers Association (SDCGA) hosted its Thirty-ninth Annual Corn Conference on Saturday, Jan. 18, drawing more than 500 attendees to the day-long event.

Professional agricultural speakers, including Drew Lerner (weather), Peter Meyer (grain marketing) and Jeff Davidman (sustainable aviation fuel), provided expert insights during the morning and afternoon sessions. The evening banquet featured Keni Thomas as the headline speaker. Lt. Governor Larry Rhoden also addressed the audience.

Founded in 1986, the South Dakota Corn Growers Association serves as a collective voice for corn producers at the state and national levels. Divided into nine districts, SDCGA’s board of directors is elected by fellow producers. Each year, SDCGA holds its annual meeting to pass resolutions and elect board members.
