Water Management Workshop to be held in Sioux Falls

Next week on Wednesday and Thursday (January 29th and 30th) in Sioux Falls at the Regional Extension Center (Link for directions), SDSU Extension along with the University of Minnesota Extension and North Dakota State University Extension will be hosting a Drainage and Water Management Workshop.

The workshop is a great way for farmers, landowners, consultants or contractors to learn more about water management solutions that increase profitability and meet environmental objectives.

The workshop has the complete package when it comes to drainage education and will cover the following topics:

Soil and Drainage Principles

Drainage Design

How to use LIDAR

Wetland Delineations

Lift Station Design and Installation

Conservation Drainage Options

Tile Safety

Drainage Legalities

This is a hands-on type workshop and multiple experts and researchers will be available for questions.

Pre-registration is mandatory. The workshop price is $225, and is limited to about 65 participants.
