Corn Comments: Earth Day featuring Justin Minnaert

Happy Earth Day from SD Corn!

Earth Day is April 22. But, on South Dakota farms, EVERY day is earth day. Farmers are good stewards of the land and protect their most valuable resource – soil – for future generations.
Farmers know that soil health requires investment and work, and that the benefits are long-term, good for the environment, and good for their operations. Many South Dakota producers are early adaptors of practices such as planting cover crops and reducing tillage.

Farmers conserve, protect, and work to improve the resources inherited from their elders in hopes of passing them along to future generations so they in turn can produce food, fuel and feed for the world.
