Corn Comments: DaNita Murray with a Fertilizer Update

The Rural Blog, based out of the University of Kentucky, last week discussed an article written recently on the fertilizer industry.

It reported that Nutrien saw profits increase 1,575% between 2020 and 2022, the Mosaic Co. had a 438% increase, and CF Industries, a 955% increase. There are various reasons fertilizer prices increased during that time period and the article also notes that four companies represent 75% of domestic fertilizer production.
