SD Corn serves up sweet corn at State Fair Value-Added Day

South Dakota Corn will serve up complimentary Sweet Corn from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. during Value Added Agriculture Day at the South Dakota State Fair on Aug. 30. in Huron, S.D.

Members of the South Dakota Corn Growers Association (SDCGA) receive free gate admission into the Fair that day and all attendees are invited to stop by the Value Added Ag tent across from the Freedom Stage to enjoy a free ear of sweet corn and learn more about the state's agricultural industry.

Also on tap at the SD Corn booth is the SDCGA's Off Road'n raffle opportunity. Up for grabs is a two-year lease on a Chevrolet Silverado 4×4 sponsored by GM; a 4 day/3 night trip for two to the winner's choice destination in the United States or Mexico, sponsored by All About Travel; and $1,200 in ethanol sponsored by the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council. Chances to win are just $5 for one ticket or get three chances for $10.
