Welcome to Corn Comments! I'm Chad Blindauer, President of the South Dakota Corn Utlization Council and a corn farmer from Mitchell. We are brought to you by the South Dakota Corn Utilization Council, a volunteer group of farmers who promote corn marketing in this state, the U.S., and around the globe.

The One-Cent Voluntary Corn Checkoff program was created to make corn utilization research and promotion possible.

This includes developing new and innovative uses for corn as well as funding research that benefits South Dakota corn producers – everything from ethanol to precision agriculture has been supported by this fund, helping our state’s number one industry – agriculture – continue to evolve and grow economically.
