The Sioux Falls Skyforce will be taking a break from their regular home uniforms on March 6th against the Grand Rapids Drive at the Sanford Pentagon, and instead be suiting up in maize. These bright-colored shorts and jerseys will be a part of Ag Appreciation night.

With images just being released today by the team on twitter, the uniforms are so unique that they have already gotten exposure from Sports Illustrated and nationally known sports uniform journalist Phil Hecken.

The uniforms will be auctioned off following the March 6th game with the proceeds going to Feeding South Dakota, the state’s number one hunger-relief organization.

“Teaming up with a great franchise like the Sioux Falls Skyforce to fight hunger in South Dakota is simply a win-win regardless of the game’s final score,” stated Teddi Mueller, South Dakota Corn Director of Industry Relations.
